Usability front and center with a level headed approach.

I’m a usability-obsessed tech geek who’s into creative photography, great design, sustainability, space exploration, calligraphy and mind expanding experiences. I believe in the concept that the user is central in every step and that a service should be designed according to the possibilities and limitations presented by its users.
You can usually find me optimizing a workflow, designing an interface or just taping two things together.
From 2011 to 2018 I’ve worked with the user experience for the SAAB JAS39 Gripen fighter jet in different projects. I’ve worked with head-up and down displays as well as desktop applications for mission planning and evaluation. Different projects have given me different mixes of people to work with. I’ve worked both as a lone UX designer in agile teams and as part of an in-house design and rapid prototyping team to quickly iterate new designs and continuously test and evaluate ideas. From February of 2018 you can find me at the design agency Usify where we see people and strive toward meaningful change.
What I love most about working with UX design is being able to work with people of various disciplines and help the projects to keep the user’s needs, capabilities and desires in the center. Through my career I’ve had ample opportunities to work closely with end users, engineers, developers, project managers and product owners. Only by working together can we make the best user experience possible.
